Having dug "beyond basics" of Service Design in many interesting presentations and workshops at last year’s sdn conference, it is now time to strengthen the relation between clients and Service Designers and support the cooperation and exchange between professionals. We will present a vivid mix of different presentations, workshops and papers in order to provide you with academic and practical expertise from renowned international players in the Service Design field.
The first post-graduate school of design in Italy presents, in a panel at Triennale di Milano, its new Masters programme starting in January 2011, and the related competition Unexpected Courtesy, closing on September 6th.

Anyone can join! Introduce yourself and your work, find like-minded people, contribute ideas and learn from the methods of other disciplines.
Dan Lockton, David Harisson and Neville Stanton wrote a fantastic article in Touchpoint 4 regarding design for behavioural change, which they are approaching with their new Service Design toolkit DwIv.1.0: 101 Patterns for Influencing Behaviour through Design. The toolkit consists of 101 simple cards illustrating a particular ‘gambit’ for influencing people’s interactions with products, services, environments and each other, via the design of systems.
