Justin Barrie is a Principal Adviser with Ngamuru Advisory, a provider of strategic advisory and commercial services to Commonwealth and State/Territory Governments and their related agencies and businesses. Ngamuru inspires and enables its clients to deliver great projects and initiatives for the good of the nation by providing practical, common-sense and effective advice and assistance.

Justin’s career has taken him from the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery, the successful founding of a small agency and start-ups and delivering value in a Big 4 setting. Many SDN members will know Justin as half of the SDN award winning service design consultancy Design Managers Australia (DMA).

He is currently driving the Ngamuru Service Design practice which works with key Government and Private clients to structure their services and organisation to deliver meaningful and measurable outcomes in complex business, policy and administrative environments.

Justin was one of the first working service designers in the country, trained by Carnegie Mellon whilst at the Australian Taxation Office over 20 years ago, he has used his toolkit of service design method and business innovation expertise to build an impeccable reputation as a trusted advisor across sectors.
