As a Service Design Lead with SDN UK, I bring experience across a range of industries—not limited to finance, consumer goods, fashion, automotive, public health and energy. I’m passionate about bringing design back to its human roots, creating experiences that feel meaningful, sustainable, and a little bit magical. My work focuses on building adaptable service ecosystems that truly resonate with people while supporting broader environmental goals. I’m excited to be part of SDN UK and connect with others who are equally passionate about pushing the boundaries of what service design can be.
To me, service design means...
To me, service design is about harnessing empathy, science, and creativity to make meaningful change. I began my journey in service design after studying neuroscience and working as an Applied Behavioural Therapist with children with Autism. I witnessed first-hand the importance of designing systems that truly support people, rather than expecting them to fit into rigid structures. This experience inspired me to take a broader approach—working not only to solve isolated challenges but to design services that create real, lasting impact. Service design allows me to combine my understanding of human behaviour with the creativity needed to imagine a better world, one ecosystem at a time.
