To me, service design means...
I see service design as a tool for social impact. Poorly designed services can leave people feeling frustrated, ignored, or undervalued, and this negativity can spill over into other areas of life. Imagine a world where every service interaction—from buying coffee to medical care—is smooth, compassionate, and user-centered. This would reduce daily frictions, help people feel valued, and foster ease and kindness. By lessening stress in these constant moments, we’re paving the way to a safer, more pleasant world where kindness is the norm. Service design isn’t just about function; it’s about creating the world we all want to live in.
