Dear SDN Members,

You are all invited to join our SDN Global Café event series. A virtual series aims to connect our beloved SDN members, provide more networking opportunities, and tackle relevant Service Design topics.

In this upcoming session, Maurico Manheas will present more about challenges service designers face in their organisations.

Title: The challenges facing service designers leading organisational change

What if you could peek behind the scenes of 41 designers’ work lives and learn from their experiences? That’s exactly what this SDN Cafe session offers you!

Through the lens of a journey map of their employee experience, you’ll hear the real and anonymized stories of a diverse and experienced group of designers, working in-house at organizations large and small, who have faced various workplace challenges. Whether it’s dealing with power dynamics, resistance to change, or lack of resources, these "anonymous" designers have valuable insights and tips to help you learn from their experience.

Join the conversation and enrich your understanding of service designers' experiences in the workplace as you work to increase the effectiveness of design in your organizational contexts.
