Rodion Sorokin Curiosity Office™, Founder, Strategic Designer

I am a strategic designer, navigating the complex world of business with a blend of curiosity and skepticism.

Each time I step into a new project, it's as if I'm seeing the world for the first time. I ask questions - some might seem naïve, but they're the keys to unlocking perspectives you've never considered. It's in the 'stupid' questions that we often find the most profound insights.

I am not a mere spectator in your business journey, but a critical thinker. I don’t just swim with the current; I challenge it. This skepticism is cutting through the layers of assumption and tradition. Sometimes, the path less traveled reveals a shortcut you never knew existed.

Envision your business as a complex mechanism, and I'm the curious mechanic with a penchant for puzzles. I deconstruct this intricate machinery, piece by piece, to understand its core. In this disassembly and reassembly, there's a chance to rebuild it not just as it was, but better, more efficient, more resilient.

By fostering a culture of exploration and inquiry, I nudge teams to look beyond the horizon. It’s in this relentless pursuit of 'why' and 'why not' that we often stumble upon innovations that redefine the very essence of the business.

In my world, tunnel vision is the greatest enemy. I don’t just look within the silo of the industry; I gaze outwards, seeking inspiration from the most unexpected sources. The solution to a challenge in finance might be hiding in the workings of a beehive.

My creative process is an art of subtraction. I strip away the noise and clutter, distilling ideas down to their purest form. What remains is the essence of your vision: uncluttered, clear, and compelling.

In this journey, my role is to be the catalyst, the questioner, the skeptic, and the visionary, all rolled into one. My goal? To help you see your business not just as it is, but as it could be - simpler, clearer, and ready for the future.

To me, service design means...

Understanding the systems and aligning people's effort to make world a better place.
