At the SDN, we are committed to achieving a more diverse community of global practitioners unconstrained by economic barriers that may hinder them from accessing everything our organisation has to offer. Accordingly, we are instituting a new pricing structure for our Professional Membership category which eliminates a previously flat membership rate of 180 Euros (per year) and replaces it with a multi-tiered pricing approach that considers the disparity in currency value between countries.
Using the World Bank's* country income index as a guiding framework, Professional Membership fees will now be based on where you live and fall into one of the following economic categories, as termed by the World Bank:

| High income | 180 Euros |
| Upper middle income | 120 Euros |
| Lower middle income | 60 Euros |
| Low income | 40 Euros |

Important Notes on the Registration Flow for Professional Membership:
- There are three steps within the registration process: Account Information, Personal Information, and Payment Detail. Only the Account Information step allows you to view your respective annual fee – so please take special care in reviewing step one.
- Begin the registration process by clicking on “Become a Member”. From there, you will be directed to step one, “Account Information,” where you will begin to fill out your personal details
- Once you select your country from the country dropdown menu—located lower down on the screen—your respective annual fee will replace the text between the parenthesis at the top that reads “Select country below to see price.”
- Proceed through steps two, “Personal Information,” and three, “Payment Details,” to complete your registration application and ultimately make your first annual payment.
