Kendon Jung is a designer of zero waste enterprises and a global futures scholar. His vision is to build human potential by making sustainable futures universally accessible and tangible. Kendon has been at the forefront of desert water policy, global corporate social impact, and urban resiliency in three nationally recognized research centers, bringing extensive experience in working with local businesses, non-profits, and public agencies to achieve sustainability goals.


A versatile and driven leader, Kendon handles numerous and varied responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with over 10 years of experience in the field. He is a strategic, goal-oriented professional who thrives in building new initiatives. His detailed-oriented organization skills, capacity building through interdisciplinary stakeholder engagement, and cultivation of scalable solutions through creative problem-solving have been evident throughout his professional journey.


Notably, Kendon has led the City of Tempe's Sustainability and Resilience Commission, employing innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and long-term visioning to help guide Tempe towards a more sustainable future. His academic background includes a Bachelor's in Sustainable Urban Dynamics and a Master's in Higher and Postsecondary Education from ASU, and he is currently pursuing a doctorate to explore how design can create holistic environments that elevate sustainable lifestyles.
