Service Design Award 2019: We have Winners in the House!

Congratulations on your well-deserved success to all Service Design Award 2019 Winners and Finalists! The much anticipated, Service Design Award ceremony was a huge success, taking place on October 10, in the magnificent Toronto.

A WORLD CLASS SERVICE DESIGN

On October 10, 2019 at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto - Service Design Award Ceremony was held in front of almost 700 expectant attendees and 12 excited shortlisted teams. Head of the Jury J. Margus Klaar and President of the SDN Birgit Mager took the stage to co-host the Ceremony and announced the finalists and five winners selected by the international jury of service design experts.

The twelwe finalists went on stage one team at a time to collect their certificate and have their work presented before the winners were announced.

SHOWING THE IMPACT OF THE SERVICE DESIGN

On October 11, the Pecha-Kucha style winner presentations were a big hit with the audience. We had an opportunity to hear key insights into the process, learnings, challenges, and outcomes of four award-winning, world-class service design projects. We look forward to sharing the footage of these best practice cases in the coming weeks and are proud to congratulate and showcase the five winners for their exceptional projects!

Special thanks to the 2019 Jury: J. Margus Klaar, Taina Makijarvi, Cathy Huang, Adriana Ojeda, Luis Alt, Damian Kernahan, and Florian Vollmer and Service Design Award Project Manager - Sonja Jazic.

Once again, a warm congratulations to all of our winners and finalists!
